How much do you charge?

I am not sure which resume writing service I require. How can I find out?

You can do one of the following.

  1. Review our resume writing services page.
  2. Email info@outplacement.net.au a copy of your current resume (if you don’t have one, provide a summary of your working history), an idea of the types of jobs you want to apply for and/or sample job ads. We will get back in touch with you with a recommendation for which service to purchase.
  3. Call us on 1300 911 131 and speak to a consultant about which service best suits your requirements.

Do you just write resumes?

No. We also write cover letters, LinkedIn profiles and selection criteria. Other options include career development programs, retirement planning, job interview coaching and ADF resume writing and career transition services.

What payment methods do you offer?

Payment options include:

What currency are your services quoted in?

All prices for resume writing services on our website are quoted in Australian Dollars.

Is your website secure?

Yes, all payment processing is handled offsite by PayPal. We do not hold credit card information or payment information.

What happens after I make a purchase?

One of our resume writers will contact you to begin working with you on your resume, cover letter, LinkedIn profile or selection criteria.

We work with job seekers across Australia, including Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Adelaide and Perth, and Auckland in New Zealand.

Why are there cheaper resume services?

Very cheap services tend to use computer software to reformat your existing resume. They do not employ writers to actually work with you to develop a new resume from scratch. As a result, they offer little value if you want a professional, targeted resume to capture the attention of potential employers.
However, we understand that you need real value for money. Compare our prices to our ‘real’ competitors and you will be pleasantly surprised.

Are you an Australian company?

Yes, Glide Outplacement is an Australian company. Our headquarters are in Brisbane.

Do you outsource the work?

We do not outsource our resume writing services to other companies.

Do you provide a one-to-one service?

Yes. You will be assigned a professional resume writer and work closely with them on a one-to-one basis to develop your resume.

Do I need to visit your office?

No. To create your resume, we can gather information via email, phone or Skype. We also offer face to face consultations – please ask about locations.

What format is the resume supplied in?

All professional resumes are supplied as an open-access, editable Microsoft Word document. We can also provide a pdf version at no extra cost.

How long will it take?

Depending on the service purchased, it generally takes between 2-5 working days. As we work with you rather than using a computer-generated questionnaire, the timing also depends on how quickly you provide information and respond to our questions.

What if I am not happy with my new resume?

All resume writing services fees include up to two (2) revisions of your first draft (based on your original request only). Please request revisions within two weeks from the date of your first draft. Any further revisions will incur an additional fee. If we don’t hear from you within this two week timeframe we will consider the service has been completed to your satisfaction.
